Handcrafted in the North East...

Wild North is the work of printmaker and illustrator Laura Wigham, inspired by the ancient, rural landscapes of Northumberland and County Durham. Imagined while wandering these places and crafted by hand in her Newcastle studio, Laura’s printed and collaged artwork celebrate the folklore, nature, and quiet magic of the North.

Each piece begins with drawings and collages, evolving into lino or woodcut prints. Nothing is wasted in the process: offcuts become new collages, ink waste is repurposed, wood waste goes onto the log burner to heat the studio, lino waste is composted.
